Merry Muhsman grew up in rural Nebraska. At an early age, she wrote stories on Sunday afternoons under a tree on her parent’s farm. She has never given up her dream to write and has worked on Peddler’s Trials for seven years. Merry graduated from Logan View High School in Hooper and went on to earn a bachelor’s degree in Journalism with a minor in History and English from Midland Lutheran College in Fremont. Shortly after college, Merry worked as editor of a weekly newspaper, the Lyons Mirror-Sun before she moved to Alton, Iowa where she worked at K-Products, Inc. While in Iowa, she met up with the Siouxland Writer’s Group, who helped Donnivus come to the written page. Eventually, she moved back to Nebraska and took on a job at Oriental Trading Company where she currently is still employed. Merry and her husband and son live in rural Nebraska where she continues to write on Sunday afternoons.
